Every discipline runs at three levels, from a first ride to the Show Team. Tuition is the same whichever you pick, and you can switch at the start of any month.

Most riders try one lesson before they enroll. Here is exactly how that hour goes, from the barn office to the last pat on the neck.

Pick a lesson
Find your rider’s age on the schedule, or tell us on the form and Nell will suggest one. Most kids under 12 start in Hunt Seat Basics or Pony Riders.

Come fifteen minutes early
Wear long pants and boots with a heel. We fit a loaner helmet at the barn office, and parents can watch from the arena rail.

Stay if it clicks
Tuition starts at $260 a month. Enroll the same week as your first lesson and we waive the $45 registration fee.

Nell opened the barn in 2009 after fourteen years on the hunter circuit. Every trainer still shows, starts young horses or judges, and teaches the lessons they love most.

What should my rider wear to a first lesson?
Long pants and boots with a small heel, like paddock boots or work boots. Each lesson page lists the full dress code, and we lend helmets for first lessons.
